James Turuthi a successful C-Suite Executive, a proven leader with a corporate career spanning Government Engagement, Regulatory Affairs, and Policy advocacy as well as boutique Business Advisory. He has over 15 years of experience in the fields of technology, governance, and development, working with various international organizations, governments and private sector.
He is currently the Chairman of The Technology Service Providers of Kenya (TESPOK) a professional, non-profit organization representing the interests of Technology service providers in Kenya. TESPOK was established in 1999, the strength of the Association rests on its ability to be truly representative of the Kenyan industry as a whole.
He is also a Board Member of KeNIC is a company, limited by guarantee, licensed to manage and administer the dot ke Country Code Top-Level Domain (.Ke ccTLD) name. KeNIC is a public-private partnership step in facilitating the growth and uptake of the dot ke domains.
He is currently the Deputy CEO, Frontier Optical Networks a locally owned technology company licensed to provide local, national and international backbone connectivity in Kenya.
