Stella WAWIRA

Stella WAWIRA is the Ag. Director, Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Telkom Kenya.
She has extensive experience in Regulatory and Public Policy, Legal Services, Ethics and Compliance, and Stakeholder Management, both as a corporate leader and independent consultant.
A diligent and persuasive legal and governance expert, she has actively participated in innovative and effective public policy reform, compliance operations, advocacy, corporate affairs, government relations, and stakeholder engagement.
Stella, having also worked with industry regulator, the Communications Authority (CA), in its Regulatory Affairs and Governance function, has amassed invaluable thought leadership experience on regulatory and compliance matters as well as vast corporate knowledge, engaging with pan-African and international Internet, connectivity, telecommunications, and payments authorities.
She is an alumna of The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, where she studied Law (LLB). She is also an advocate of the High Court and a Certified Public Secretary of Kenya.
