- Shereen Zorba is the Executive Secretary of the UN Science-Policy-Business Forum on the Environment (UN-SPBF). She is also Chief of Science-Policy-Business Interface at UN Environment.

- Since 2017, Shereen lead the convening of UN-SPBF around Big Data for the planet, bringing together the contributions and perspectives of diverse actors and experts, including technology giants and earth observations leaders.
- The Working Group on Big Data and Exponential Tech paved the way towards the unanimous adoption by UNEA of a ministerial declaration mandating the development of a global environmental data strategy by 2025. UN-SPBF is the convening arm of the World Environment Situation Room (WESR), Global Environmental Data Strategy and the recently launched Data for the Environment Alliance (DEAL) initiative.
