- Prof hameer is A registered professional engineer in aerospace engineering recognized by the engineers board of kenya (ebk) and serves as the director of the school of aerospace and vehicle engineering (save) at the technical university of kenya (tuk).
- Prof hameer is also the academic team leader of the department of space systems and engineering in save, tuk. Prof hameer has research interests in helicopter aeromechanics and thermofluids. Prof hameer achieved all his qualifications from the georgia institute of technology:- phd in aerospace engineering (2010), msc in aerospace engineering (2005), and bsc in electrical engineering with honors (2003).
