Rose Wanjiku Njogu-Mwangi is an aerospace engineer with over 10 years of experience in the design of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) as well as the development of nanosatellite modules.
For more than 6 years she worked as the aerodynamics lead in the design and development of electric-powered, and petrol-powered unmanned aerial systems to be used in earth observation missions.
Currently, she is the CEO of SayariLabs where she leads a team of brilliant engineers in developing nanosatellite modules, for missions geared towards improving livelihoods in Kenya and Africa.
In her capacity as a thermal control engineer, she was part of the team that developed Kenya’s first nanosatellite launched in April 2023. She holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics with a specialization in unmanned systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a focus in aeronautics both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
