- Dr. Paolo Marzioli is a Research Associate in aerospace systems at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome, where he gained his PhD in 2021 with a thesis focused on nano-satellite innovative navigation systems.
- He is currently co-chairing the courses in Spacecraft Design and Aircraft Systems within the MSc in Space and Astronautical Engineering and the BSc in Aerospace Engineering at Sapienza.
- His major research topics deal with enabling technologies for nano-satellites development and Space Traffic Management.
- He has been working as system engineer for four CubeSats missions, three of which developed with Kenyan partners in the framework of cooperation projects.
- Within Italian-Kenyan space research projects, Paolo is currently involved in various projects involving the Italian Space Agency and Kenya Space Agency, including WildTrackCube-SIMBA and LEDSAT projects and he has been working within the EQUO project.
