- Dr. Munzer Jahjah received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 1989 and his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering in 2003 from Sapienza University of Rome. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Jahjah has made significant contributions to space ground segment and Earth observation fields.
- Following his Ph.D., Dr. Jahjah joined the faculty at Sapienza University as a researcher and lecturer. During his tenure, he participated in several pioneering research projects, focusing on aerospace systems and algorithm development for Earth observation. His work at Sapienza combined theoretical research with practical implementation, resulting in numerous published papers in prestigious aerospace journals and presentations at international conferences.
- In 2013, Dr. Jahjah joined the Italian Space Agency (ASI) as a Program Manager for various space contracts with the European Space Agency (ESA), the French Space Agency (CNES), SpaceX, NASA, and the Kenya Space Agency. His responsibilities included overseeing satellite operations, LEOP, TT&C, data acquisition, and various research projects. Dr. Jahjah also manages the Luigi Broglio Malindi Space Centre (BSC), co-managed with the Kenya Space Agency.
