- Misiani holds a BSc. degree in Meteorology from the University of Nairobi and a Master's in Meteorology from Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology.
- At the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) as a Senior Research Scientist & Climate Focal Point.
- Misiani's professional role is to supports decision-makers to Anticipate and manage the risks of a changing and variable climate, including Early Warning Early Action systems that help build resilience among climate vulnerable communities. His diverse roles also encompass project management, research, partnership building, and knowledge exchange.
