- An MBA with over 15 years’ experience in satellite broadband communications across Africa and Middle East. Mary is the Regional Business Development Executive East Africa at Avanti Communications – a UK based global multi orbit satellite provider. Mary’s mandate focusses on establishing an ecosystem of business partners within the telecommunications space in Africa
- Prior to Avanti, Mary worked for leading telcos in Africa namely iSAT Africa Limited, iWayAfrica Limited, Callkey Services Limited and Bayobab (formerly UUNET Kenya and MTN Business Kenya) in different capacities: Head Customer Relations, Business Development Manager (West and Central Africa), Service Delivery & Strategic Projects Manager and Customer Support Engineer.
- Mary is a founder Board Member of Project Management Institute of Kenya and a former mentor at Akirachix and Safaricom Technovation Challenge where she provided guidance to young girls on how to excel within the technology space.
- Mary has received several accolades for her work to include :Top 45 most influential women in digital transformation in Africa 2021 – 2022 by dx5ve (Formerly CIO Africa), East Africa COM’s 2023 Female Innovator of the Year and inspiring fifty Africa women in the tech space 2023.
