- James is senior officer Kenya National Bureau of Statistics working under Population and Social Statistics Directorate in Cartography and GIS Section.
- Over a decade of experience in Remote sensing, cartography and GIS acquired while working in different disciplines as GIS technician in Highland Surveyors, photogrammetry assistant in the Ministry of Lands Housing and Urban development and currently at the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics.
- Holder of a degree in Geoinformation Technology and a diploma in photogrammetry and remote sensing. A father and husband.
