- Ms. Faith Mutwiri currently serves as a GIS and Remote Sensing expert at the Kenya Forest Service with a strong background in applying geospatial technologies in the forestry sector.
- She possesses over 10 years of experience in mapping and assessment of forest resources in the country and in coordinating gathering, analysis and modelling of remotely sensed forest data for policy guidance, and for International and National reporting processes.
- Ms. Mutwiri has a Master of Science in GIS and Remote Sensing for the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a strong background in Cartography.
- In her current role at KFS, she leads a team in forest monitoring, the generation of Activity Data for Forest Reference level and GHGI and capacity building to forest officers among others.
