- Byron ANANGWE is an individual passionate about developing solutions and applications in the GeoICT (Geo-Information Communication Technologies) sector towards the sustainable development of Africa by Africa. He is a keen advocate of engaging with communities to increase impacts-positive of Geo-ICT related initiatives.
- Byron has 25 years of experience in the application of Geo-ICT in Sub Sahara Africa (SSA) in interest areas associated with application, training and policy development in thematic areas Agriculture, Blue Economy, Climate Adaptation, Entrepreneurship, Environment, Land Management/Planning, Health and cross cutting Natural Resources Management (NRM) interventions.
- Byron is an alumnus of Manchester Metropolitan University - UK (MSc. Geo-Information Management) and the Technical University of Kenya (Land Surveying & Management).
- He serves as an advisor to government and private sector on matters relating to harnessing of the Space Economy/Environment for National Development. He presently serves at Aegir Consult as Partnerships and Collaboration Manager.
