- Ms. Husna A. Mbarak works at Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Kenya Representation as the Team Leader Governance of Land & Natural Resource. AT FAO Kenya she manages the Land Governance portfolio around Land Administration tenure and management, land use planning, conflict and dispute resolution, policy and legal framework, Gender equality/rights mainstreaming, research, indigenous people and knowledge management.
- Expertise in Land, Environment and Natural resource management, Policy and Governance, Gender and Development. Trained in Legal (law), Gender, Natural Resource Governance, Governance, conflict and dispute resolution and project management.
- Holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies management from Oxford Association of Management, Bachelor of Business Administration in Legal Studies Management from Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica, Master’s in law from South Wales University and Master of Science in Project Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and Currently pursuing Doctoral degree (PhD) in Environmental Law at the University of Nairobi.
